HYPERSPECTRAL STUDIES
Hyperspectral filming is a method of shoot in which the reflected signal from the ground is connected to the various channels of light. Combining and analyzing different parts of the spectrum of light, allowing for the display type of the ground cover, the composition of the water in the rivers and bodies of water pollution water contamination with various organic and inorganic components and the like. The resulting image using hyperspectral sensor combined with digital imaging and laser aerophotogrametric capture pitch with LiDAR, enables high accurate and objective identification and analysis of environmental elements and characteristics.
Hyperspectral sensors permit the registration, recognition and display many characteristics of the objects from the ground:
- type of land cover
- health of vegetation
- determination of plant diseases
- waste material and pollution of water sources
- soil types
- determine the presence of certain minerals in the soil
- pollution
Environmental monitoring, which uses air studies hyperspectral sensors allows to obtain valuable information that exceeds the boundaries of the applications of the visible spectrum. By selecting specific parameters and algorithms it is possible to detect, for example:
- index normalized difference vegetation NDVI
- sediment in suspension
- concentration of chlorophyll
- detection of contaminants
- mapping asbestos coverage
- agricultural stress
- areas covered by fire
- potentially flammable areas
